Band/Orchestra

WHMS offers multiple opportunities for students who are interested in playing an instrument, regardless of their previous level of experience. Our band and orchestra students consistently earn high marks at county evaluations! Each program offers beginner, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade instruction, as well as a magnet ensemble for students involved in the Arts: Scape Avenue B program. Students are also able to enroll in basic piano instruction courses at each grade level. Students who are interested in additional opportunities are encouraged to join our marching band, which participates in multiple parades and community events each year.
